It Can Wait

When that diurnal course alights
You will fall helplessly in my arms
And let me put you to bed.

When that diurnal course alights
I will hold your smooth hands
And lead you to places you have never been

When that diurnal course alights
I will look foward to the nuptial rite
That you can’t seem to stop talking about

But until it alights
Let me ensonce in the corner
Let me imbibe that dark beer
Let it scrub my agony away

Let me be…Unloved
Love can wait till that diurnal course alights
