When you are in your final year at University, you have this “Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates” attitude of starting up something on your own.
Unemployment is real in this country and having that first class degree no longer guarantees you to work in these top government institutions.
The best a relative can offer you in a government institution is to work as an intern getting no pay but working like a donkey.
Private companies can employ some of us but only a small percentage and sometimes the salary won’t live to see the next month due to transport, food and other bills.
A few of us try to start something on our own, but money is not enough to enable you get contracts since bribery is a critical factor in aquiring a job. And if at all you manage to get a contract, someone takes 6 months to pay after execution of a job forcing you to get loans to keep the business running.
So I ask myself, at what point does someone start an independent business without worrying about a financial collapse.
